Your $22/Month Donation Could Save a Life

Every day, 22 Veterans lose their lives to suicide. To us, that is unacceptable. Join The Long Walk Home in our mission to provide Veterans and people within their support group with the appropriate suicide first-aid skills.

Our signature prevention program is a two-day workshop called Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) by LivingWorks. ASIST is a proven method to help people who are thinking of suicide stay safe for the immediate time. We are making this resource available to Veterans, our Mentors, family members, and caretakers.

Funded directly by Campaign 22 donations, ASIST teaches skills that enable helpers to better discuss the topic of suicide, and it is one of the best evidence-based programs for creating a suicide-safer community. On average, confidence to help someone at risk increases from 35% to 100% for the participants involved in our workshops.

Your contribution to Campaign 22 makes this a possibility. Over a year, a $22/month donation pays the way for an individual to participate in ASIST (normally $300 per person). You also get a free Campaign 22 t-shirt with your first month's donation. Wear it with pride and help us spread awareness!

BONUS: Support at the $66/month or higher level and you'll also receive a signed copy of Ron Zaleski's new book, The Long Walk Home: A Veteran's Barefoot Journey Across America.
