Help A Veteran Make Their Transition

Our mentorship program is designed to help Veterans and families make their transition to civilian life. You will work with veterans 1-on-1, online, to help guide them through The 10 Challenges To Service. Each challenge is designed to help the Veteran regain their purpose in civilian life.

Join a network of Veterans and military families who have embarked on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

At The Long Walk Home, we help veterans and their families have a healthy and purposeful transition to civilian life. The Mentorship Program guides you along a series of personal challenges designed to combat negative thinking, build healthier habits, develop goals for the future, and nurture personal relationships.

As a Mentee, expect to spend no more than 30 minutes on any of the ten challenges. Start your journey today!

Testimonials from our Mentors:

“I am an Army Veteran of six years, I did missions in 6 different countries over the course of one combat deployment and I was struggling with alcohol severely. Still functional I would like to claim, but we all know the truth. I spent a lot of time volunteering at schools before my downfall and enjoyed helping people every chance I got. When I heard of Ron and his organization I felt immediately obligated to do something, not only to help others to to fix myself. Between the program Ron has laid out, his mentorship and the ability for me to help others with their struggles I was able to truly focus on myself and what I felt I needed to do to be the man I once saw myself as. Ron's work, truly turned my life around. He and Craig are two of the best people I know and it is truly an honor to have the opportunity to help them on their mission to help others.”~Chris Butler

"Although they seem like small tasks they had a big impact on me. I’m thankful for getting in touch with Ron and the long walk home and the work that they do is invaluable to veterans like me.” ~ Richard Ayers

“The skillsets being offered are critically important in being able to adopt in order to create optimal success and health not only after leaving the service but life in general” ~Gary Delgado

“I feel this course was a great opportunity to look inwards at myself.” anonymous

“This is a great organization that cares about assisting me on my journey to being the best me I can be”. ~Dawn Condry
